I've seen numerous references to Crankshaft Crossing on other web-sites. This inspired me to make the trip myself. Luckily, my regular street-car made it along the miles of rocky dirt track unscathed.

The area is littered with defunct car parts. Apparently, at least some of these are from vehicles that broke down in the area. Hence, my desire to conquer the road without losing my car!
