In March 2002, I acquired a Sony DCR-TRV900 camcorder and related items, such as video editing software (Vegas Video 3). Here's a sampling of the movies I've put together.

By default, the videos are encoded as are 100Kb/s Real-Video streams. I found that Windows Media and Real content were roughly the same size and quality, so I opted for the more cross-platform variety. For a given data rate template, Quicktime seems to produce files that are twice as large and significantly lower quality! The encoders I used all came with Vegas Video.

Note that video streaming is not currently available.
